What Can a Bad
Credit Report Cost You? |
|
The impact a bad
credit report can have on your life is surprising.
Consider these key points...
|
√
|
You will
pay higher interest rates for mortgages and auto loans (if you manage to qualify for
the loan at all). Lower credit scores mean higher financing costs!

√ |
You may be passed up for that great job. Now, more than ever,
employers rely on credit reports when selecting candidates for
employment.
|
| √ |
You may not get the apartment you wanted. Landlords are very
cautious and use credit reports to help determine who they should
and shouldn't rent to.
|
| √ |
Your auto insurance can cost you more than it otherwise would if
you have a good credit rating.

Did You Know? |
- The US government
estimates that as many as 80%
of credit bureau reports contain erroneous, inaccurate, or outdated
information.
- In
60% of cases, these errors are bad enough to
cause a consumer to be denied credit. 70% of the US population has
a credit score BELOW 650 which is the minimum score required to
qualify for a mortgage!
- In many cases, the
consumer is offered credit, but with either a reduced limit or
higher interest rate than they would get if the negative information
were removed.
- On a 30 year
mortgage, this difference could drop your payment from as high as
$1,260 per month to as low as $665 on a $100,000 mortgage. It could
drop the payment of a $25,000 car by $200 per month! This assumes
that you were able to get the mortgage or buy the car in the first
place!
-
Many
employers base
their hiring decisions on a person’s credit report figuring that the way
a potential employee handles his/her finances, whether or not they have judgments etc., also
determines the way they will handle themselves in the workplace. Right or
Wrong it's done all the time.
-
Insurance companies
often use credit scores to determine the rate to charge for car, health, or
life insurance...don't believe it?

I want to thank you for the help with getting my “Notices of Federal Tax
Liens” and State Tax Liens, removed from my credit report. I had 11
“Notices of Federal Tax Liens” and 3 State Tax Liens on my credit report.
All of the Liens are now off the credit report except one, and I
understand that it should be removed in the next month or so. Once again
thank you for your help in cleaning up my credit report, I appreciate it
very much.
Sincerely,
Dr. C. W. Stock
Just wanted to say thanks on behalf of a client who applied for the
credit restoration program. This young couple has never owned a home. The
husband had cancer and this led to credit problems. He has just passed the
5 year cancer free mark and they have decided to purchase their first
house. A banker friend told the couple they needed to come see me to
discuss the credit restoration program. They bought the program, called me
occasionally to tell me they had received letters showing accounts deleted
off CB report. Bottom line, this couple has just become homeowners with
the help of our credit restoration program. They are very happy and so am
I.

Thank you
very much for the outstanding work on my credit file. I was
recently divorced and had a number of late pays and
derogatory statements that were a part of the separation,
but were never cleared up until I utilized your services.
In addition, I had a bankruptcy from 1981 that was still
showing which you were able to remove.
When I
received my first letters from the credit bureau stating
they were not going to honor the credit repair process, I
was a little nervous, but you assured me that was often
standard procedure and not to worry. Sure enough, you
removed 21 different problems, and I think you are still
working on a few others.
I appreciate all the hard
work in helping me understand the difference between a professional
company that follows the law and proper procedures over many of the
others who seem to look good, but often don't follow through as well as
your company.
Thanks again for your help,
I would be glad to recommend your services to anyone who needs credit
help and apparently that seems to be a rather large number. I also look
forward to your new web-updates that you mentioned which should help
keep me informed along the way.

My
son is 24 years old. He married in April of 2002. He and his wife want to
buy a house, and I suggested he get pre-qualified for a home loan. He has
obtained copies from all three credit reporting agencies. All of them had
incorrect information on then. His middle initial is S, but they showed
it as D. It showed he had worked for Outback Steakhouse for 2 years. He
has NEVER worked for this company, but one of his roommates did. Some of
the reports showed he owed $659 to a Wake Forest Medical Clinic. He has
never lived, worked or gone to school in that area. He is very healthy,
and has not seen a hospital since the day he was born. There was also an
account for $3,990. that is not his. Everything that was negative on the
report was not his. If this has been reported in the past 5 years, I
would hate to see him wait another 5 years to buy a house. He has had an
excellent credit report, or so we thought!

Your CreditRenew™ Money Back Guarantee
No one can guarantee 100% success in restoring your credit history.
CreditRenew™ however provides the following money back guarantee for
our valued customers.
Put simply, we don’t believe you should have to pay for
ineffective service. So here's how our guarantee works.
After
you have been a client for 12 months and
you have forwarded credit reports and completed
your commitments to the service as detailed on your original
application, if you feel
ambivalent about the success of our service you can request an
evaluation of your account.
We will add up each deleted or updated
credit listing on your credit report up to the first anniversary of
the commencement of our services. We will then evaluate our
performance based on one of the following two criteria and, at the
discretion of CreditRenew™, will determine the amount of money to be
refunded.
I.
If the ratio of
derogatory items deleted/updated to the total number of derogatory
items challenged on your behalf is less than 80%, you may be entitled
to the difference between the percentage actually removed and the 80%
minimum that we strive to achieve. That percentage difference may be
calculated against the service fee charged.
II.
We will assign a
value of $25 to each such derogatory item that is deleted/updated. If
that total value of the deleted/updated items is not greater than the
total service fee paid by you, the difference, if any, may be
refunded.
Note: This does not mean that CreditRenew™ will charge its regular
fees plus $25 per deleted/updated item. Rather, the $25 per
deleted/updated item is simply used as a value assigned to such items
by CreditRenew™ to permit CreditRenew™ and you the consumer to measure
the success of our services.
The
CreditRenew™
Money Back Guarantee is intended
to reassure you that CreditRenew™ has a
stake in helping you achieve a high level of success toward your goal
of improving your financial future.
