  2. Can you special order wines?

    In most cases, YES, but Ohio has crazy liquor laws. As long as the wine is being sold via an authorized distributor in Ohio, we can get it. Call us at 440.427.1222, stop in, or email us at info@oldewinecellar.com, we’d love to help you.

  3. What is your selection of wines like in the store?

    We are geared toward wines not found in the big chain stores (Heinens, Giant Eagle, Trader Joes, etc.) so the wines are more of a boutique nature, from smaller producers. We are constantly changing our selections around and try to offer a greater variety of wines than you'll find anywhere else. But if you don't see what you want, just ask and we'll special order it for you (as long as it's available in Ohio)

    Tuesday-Thursday: 11am – 9pm
    Friday-Saturday: 11am – 11pm

  1. Do you have any wine tastings?

    Every Friday & Saturday from 5pm – 9pm. Each week we feature a different varietal or region. David, our wine guy, does an excellent job of describing each wine. This informal event allows customers to taste at their own pace with plenty of one on one time with Jon to ask questions or just discuss your favorite wines.

  2. What is the cost of your tastings?

    $15 per person.

  3. Can you tell me more?

    The tastings consist of 6 different wines each week. We change the theme too, so you're always guaranteed to be trying new wines each weekend. We provide tastings notes for each of the wines. There is no formal presentation, so please feel free to come in any time during the tasting period. The tasting takes about 45 minutes to an hour to finish, so please plan your night here with that in mind. If you have any further questions, feel free to call us during our normal business hours.

  4. Do you hold private tastings?

    Private tastings are available in the store Monday through Thursday after normal business hours. Call us to make arrangements for private tastings off-premise.

  5. How many people can you accomodate?

    During the winter season, we have had as many as forty people at a given time (admittedly it was a little crowded) but during nicer weather we have an outdoor porch and patio available as well, so we're more flexible with larger groups.

  1. What is the Wine Of The Month Club?

    Our WOTM Club features handpicked wines from around the world. Customers choose the number of bottles, price-range and style, we do the rest. There is a descriptive card and each bottle is specially wrapped. The best part of the club is that you're trying new wines you'd not normally take a chance on. Furthermore, you'll be trying wines you don't see in the big chain stores.

    Unfortunately, the State of Ohio does not allow the return or exchange of alcohol to the
    vendor. We comply with all rules and regulations regarding the sale and distribution of
    alcohol in the state of Ohio.
